What we offer, and what each one actually does
Most people arrive with a treatment in mind. What follows explains what each one actually does, so the conversation at your consultation starts from the right place.
Three different jobs
The treatments below don't do the same kind of work, and confusing them is the most common reason people are disappointed.
Anti-wrinkle treatment acts on muscle. It reduces how strongly a muscle pulls, so the skin above it creases less.
Dermal filler acts on structure. It sits in tissue and changes shape, projection or definition.
Profhilo and polynucleotides act on skin quality. Neither changes your proportions, and neither will do what filler does.
If what's bothering you is skin texture, no amount of filler will fix it. If what's bothering you is a loss of structure, no amount of skin treatment will fix that either.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
This works on lines caused by movement. If your lines are still there when your face is completely at rest, this isn't the treatment that will remove them, and that's worth checking before you book anything.
Lip Enhancement
The thing people say most often at this appointment is that they don't want anyone to be able to tell. That's achievable. It comes down to restraint, and to looking at your lips as part of a face rather than on their own.
Cheek Enhancement
The midface affects how the rest of the face reads, so we assess it in context rather than in isolation. It's also an area where a small amount in the right place does more than a large amount in the wrong one.
Chin Enhancement
This is the treatment people most often arrive not having thought about. Ask about a weak jawline or a heavy neck and there's a fair chance the conversation ends up here instead.
Jawline Enhancement
Results here depend a great deal on the individual. Bone structure and skin quality both set what's achievable, so this is a treatment we plan carefully around the person in front of us.
Profhilo
It's an injectable, but it isn't a filler in the sense people usually mean. It won't change your shape and it won't alter your proportions. If that's what you're after, this is the wrong page.
Polynucleotides
This is the newest treatment on our list, so it's worth being straight about what that means.
Full Face Rejuvenation
Not a treatment, and not a package. It's the name we give the appointment where the answer isn't one area, and where deciding the order matters more than deciding the products.
How we decide
We look at the whole face before we treat any part of it, we ask what's bothering you rather than which treatment you want, and we go through your medical history and anything you've had done before.
Then we talk through the options and build a plan around what you're actually asking for.
Booking a consultation takes a £50 deposit. It holds your appointment and covers the consultation.
If you go on to have treatment, that £50 comes off the price. A treatment costing £250 would leave £200 to pay.
If we decide together that treatment isn't the right idea, the £50 has still paid for the consultation and the assessment behind it.
Refundable or transferable with 48 hours' notice.
Changing or cancelling
Give us at least 48 hours' notice and we'll move your appointment or refund the deposit, whichever you prefer.
Inside 48 hours, or if you don't attend, the deposit isn't refunded. Clinic time is booked out in advance and a missed appointment can't usually be filled at short notice.
If something serious comes up, tell us. We'd rather hear from you than not.
Consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be offered. Anti-wrinkle treatment involves a prescription-only medicine and is subject to consultation, assessment of suitability and an appropriate prescribing process. Dermal filler treatments carry uncommon but serious risks, which are discussed with you before you decide anything.
